Facebook Networking Tips - Connect With GBTC

Facebook Networking Tips from GBTC

There are some Facebook Networking Tips which can multiply your success on Facebook by several times.

Just to give a quick background, Facebook is a social networking site--a place for people to connect and interact with other members based on city, region, industry or school.

Facebook members start by creating a profile which provides basic information about them. From there, they are able to find and add friends, send messages, post on people's personal bulletin boards (called "walls"), upload photos or video, comment on other people's photos, create groups, create causes, create events, create fan pages...Really, there's a lot that can be done on Facebook.

If you're looking to be successful on Facebook, this is amongst the most important of Facebook Networking Tips:

Keep it real on Facebook

What does that mean? First off, it means absolutely, positively NO SPAM! The last thing you want to do is be flagged by the moderators and develop a reputation among your contacts as being SPAMMY, or always trying to sell something/push an agenda.

A much better approach is to build quality relationships with people over time. This can be done by participating in conversations and providing real, unique value whenever possible.

Other Facebook Networking Tips include things like updating your status frequently, writing on other people's walls, taking the initiative to add people you know as friends, and keeping in contact with them.

Of course, depending on what your goal is on Facebook, your strategy will be different.
