Professional Networking on LinkedIn - Connect with GBTC
Professional Networking on LinkedIn has grown to more than 24 million registered users actively engaging and networking.
Registered users maintain a list of contacts that include people they know and trust in business. These people are called "Connections"; users can invite anyone (whether a site user or not) to become a connection.
There are many other features of LinkedIn with new ones being added frequently. For instance, you can join groups that you find interesting. Many users have fun joining alumni-related groups and reuniting with old classmates and friends.
Another feature of LinkedIn is a thing called "Recommendations". These digital recommendations work a lot like professional recommendations work in real life. That is, it looks good if you have many recommendations, and providing a recommendation to somebody whose work you're uncertain of can be dangerous--if they underperform, a mutual contact who read your recommendation and trusted it, is likely to be disappointed.
