REFERRAL PROGRAM

The GBTC is always on the look out for new, promising members and after all a rising tide lifts all boats. The majority of our best members have always come from referrals our current members.  Because of this we have set up a referral program to, at the least, offer you dinner for all of this hard work.

It's really easy. Bring your clients, contacts and friends to a GBTC event. Your guest will meet new people, learn a thing or two about the GBTC and quite possibly make a connection that improves their business.  Just think what'll happen when they join and start telling everyone else how great your firm is for introducing them to such a talented group of people (we mean our members!).

How It Works:
Refer one new member to the GBTC (with 10 or more employees), or
3 new members (with 10 or less employees)

And dinner is on us, don’t worry we offer more than fast food. It’s actually a $50 gift certificate to dinner (gift certificates are issued on a quarterly basis).

We also track the number of referrals we receive from our members each year. The person with the most referrals will be added to the nomination list for The Connector Award, which is presented at TechNite.

Process and Regulations

• The new member must notify the GBTC that they joined as a result of your referral (within 30 days of their joining)
• The new member must have 10 or more employees.

Important Notes:

• This program is only available to GBTC members whose dues are up-to-date.
• Referrers cannot be a paid employee of the new GBTC member.
• Gift certificates are only awarded for new members, not renewals.
• If two or more members make the same referral, those members will split the gift certificate.
• The GBTC reserves the right to select the restaurant.
• The GBTC reserves the right to determine what qualifies as an eligible referral.
